Kheer is basically rice pudding made across India, it is similar to rice payasam made in South Indian homes. One of the most favorite Indian dessert Rice kheer can be made quickly and easily with just a few ingredients. Kheer is actually the perfect dish to celebrate a festival or just cook it up as an after meal dessert at home. Indian loved it this sweet dish, and eat this dish with great taste. kheer is made in many ways. I'm starting to share one of the recipes with you.

Ingredients of Rice Kheer (Chawal Ki Kheer) Recipe: 

Note: Before cooking rice soaked (20-25 mins)

  1. 5 Cups Milk, full cream
  2. 1/4 Cup Rice (washed)
  3. 1/2 Cup Sugar
  4. 10-12 Raisins(Saugī)
  5. 4 Green cardamoms
  6. 10-12 almonds for garnishing

HOW TO MAKE RICE KHEER

  1. Take a pan, and on the gas keep its pan.
  2. Put it milks in that pan.
  3. Then put it the soaked rice in milk.
  4. Simmer over low flame, stirring sometimes till the rice is cooked and the milk becomes thick.
  5. When done add sugar, raisins and cardamoms.
  6. Stir till sugar gets dissolved properly.
  7. Transfer this kheer to the serving dish and garnish with crushed almonds.
  8. Serve hot or chilled.
